Welcome to my underwater world! Dive in and meet my alter ego, Queen Triggerfish. Part of the Balistidae (Triggerfish) family, the Queen Triggerfish (Balistes vetula) exhibits many of the same traits of other triggerfish, including residing in tropical waters, exhibiting bright colors marked by lines and spots, possessing an intelligence and learning behaviors beyond most other fish, and being shy, curious, and yet fierce in defense of self and territory.

This website introduces you to my love of the oceans and my life in them, ranging from capturing through a camera’s eye the beauty of dives I have made around the world, creating unique perspectives of the underwater realm through oil painting and other media, and teaching a wide range of diving skills to help current and future divers gain greater appreciation for the ocean ecology that makes up 70% of our planet.
